The goal of this piece was to create a legible phrase or word from only iconic imagery. Here I played with the unique shape language of old phones to illustrate the letters in the phrase. I wanted to replicate the look of a risograph or newspaper digitally, so I colored this only in magenta, teal and yellow and added some slight misregistering.
